Alfredo Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, and place a wire rack on top.
- Prepare the Wings:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up better.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Bake the Wings:
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- While the wings are baking, prepare the Alfredo sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Coat the Wings:
- Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the wings and gently toss until the wings are evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
- Serve:
- Arrange the Alfredo chicken wings on a serving platter. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
Tips:
- Extra Crispy: For even crispier wings, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Dipping Sauce: Serve with extra Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping, or pair with a fresh green salad to balance the richness.
These Alfredo Chicken Wings are the perfect blend of crispy wings and creamy Alfredo sauce, making for a decadent appetizer or main dish. Enjoy! 🍗🧄🧀
