Amish Country Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat with the chopped onion. Cook until the meat is no longer pink and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is well combined.
