Amish Country Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked egg noodles (or macaroni)
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is softened.
