Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped (about 4-5 slices)
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Extra bacon and cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, onion, garlic, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Shape the Meatloaf: Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Topping (Optional): If desired, place extra bacon strips and sprinkle additional cheese on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Cool and Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra ketchup or your favorite sauce.
Tips:
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- You can also add pickles or mustard to the meat mixture for extra flavor!
