Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into thin fries
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  1. Prepare the Potatoes:
  • Cut the potatoes into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.
  1. Season the Fries:
  • Drain and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  1. Bake the Fries:
  • Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  1. Add Parmesan:
  • Remove the fries from the oven and immediately toss them with the grated Parmesan cheese while they are still hot.
  1. Garnish and Serve:
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

These Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of garlicky, cheesy goodness. Enjoy them as a side dish or a snack with your favorite dipping sauce!
