Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the Shrimp and Steak:
- In separate bowls, toss the shrimp and steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, making sure they’re evenly coated.
- Cook the Steak:
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp:
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
Tips
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
- For added flavor, consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or spinach to the dish.
