Cheesy Beefy Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and garlic. Drain excess fat. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Prepare the Dough:
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a floured surface. Pinch seams together to form a single sheet.
- Fill the Rolls:
- Cut the dough into triangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture at the wide end of each triangle, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end.
- Bake:
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve:
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Tips:
- Variations: Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick or use different cheeses for variety!
- Make Ahead: Assemble the rolls and refrigerate before baking for a quick snack later.
Enjoy your cheesy beefy rolls! 🥳✨
