Cheesy Parmesan Crisps with Herbs

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese (or a mix of parmesan and cheddar for variety)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (or any herb of your choice, like thyme or rosemary)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional, for some heat)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for extra spice)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the shredded parmesan cheese with garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
  3. Scoop small mounds (about a tablespoon each) of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Press each mound down slightly to flatten it into a circle.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese crisps are golden and bubbly. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow the crisps to cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes to firm up.

Serving:

Once cooled, the parmesan crisps will be crunchy and perfect for snacking. You can enjoy them on their own or pair them with a low-carb dip, like guacamole or sour cream with herbs.

These are not only easy but also gluten-free and keto-friendly, making them a great snack when you’re craving something cheesy and crispy!
