Dessert Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crushed cookies (like Oreos, graham crackers, or vanilla wafers)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for dipping)
  • Toppings (optional): sprinkles, crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Base:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  1. Form the Balls:
  • Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  1. Chill:
  • Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  1. Melt the Chocolate:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  1. Dip the Balls:
  • Remove the chilled dessert balls from the refrigerator. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat evenly. Tap off any excess chocolate.
  1. Add Toppings:
  • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your choice of toppings on top.
  1. Set:
  • Return the coated balls to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, or place them in the fridge for quicker setting.
  1. Serve:
  • Enjoy your dessert balls as a sweet treat for any occasion!

Tips:

  • Flavor Variations: Try adding different extracts or flavorings to the base, like almond or mint.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Enjoy your delicious dessert balls! 🍪✨
