Easy Peach Dumplings

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) canned peaches in syrup (or 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced)
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or 7-Up)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  1. Prepare the Peaches:
  • If using canned peaches, drain them well. If using fresh peaches, peel and slice them.
  1. Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough:
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  1. Wrap the Peaches:
  • Place a few peach slices in the center of each crescent roll triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle around the peaches, starting from the wide end and tucking the sides in to seal.
  1. Prepare the Baking Dish:
  • Arrange the wrapped peach dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
  1. Make the Topping:
  • In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the dumplings.
  1. Add the Butter and Soda:
  • Pour the melted butter evenly over the dumplings.
  • Gently pour the lemon-lime soda around the edges of the baking dish (do not pour it directly over the dumplings).
  1. Bake:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
  1. Serve:
  • Let the dumplings cool slightly before serving. They’re great on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy your Easy Peach Dumplings! This dessert is warm, comforting, and perfect for any occasion.
