Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Ingredients:

For the Bread:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Hot Fudge Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for extra fudge chunks)

For Topping (Optional):

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  1. Prepare the Pan:
  • Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2: Mix the Bread Ingredients

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  1. Mix Wet Ingredients:
  • In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  1. Combine Wet and Dry:
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 3: Add the Fudge Swirl

  1. Add Fudge Swirl:
  • Gently fold in 1/2 cup of the hot fudge sauce into the batter. If you’re using mini chocolate chips, fold them in as well.
  1. Swirl the Fudge:
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Drizzle with a little of the remaining hot fudge sauce.
  • Top with the remaining batter, and then drizzle the top with more hot fudge sauce.
  • Use a knife or a skewer to swirl the fudge sauce through the batter for a marbled effect.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake the Bread:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.
  1. Cool:
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Optional Topping:
  • Before serving, you can dust the bread with powdered sugar for a touch of elegance.
  1. Enjoy:
  • Slice and enjoy your rich, chocolatey Hot Fudge Brownie Bread. It’s great on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
