Slow-Cooked Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced (or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Make the Sauce:
- In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Combine:
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s well-coated.

- Shred the Chicken:
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return it to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the sauce.
