Super Easy Cheesy Spinach
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh spinach (or 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Spinach
- If Using Fresh Spinach:
- In a large skillet or saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted, stirring occasionally. If the spinach releases water, drain it.
- If using frozen spinach, simply thaw and drain well to remove excess water.
